Privacy

This is the plain-language version. The shorter the privacy policy, the more honest the company. Here is ours.

What we collect

Email address, when you sign up for the newsletter or create an account. We use it to send what we said we would send and to identify your account. Nothing else.

Birth data (date, time, place), once you generate a chart. The chart calculator runs in your browser. Your birth data is not transmitted to our servers unless you create an account and choose to save your chart, in which case we encrypt it and use it only to compute your chart.

Aggregate analytics via Plausible, a privacy-friendly analytics provider that does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. Plausible counts page views and referrers in aggregate so we can tell what's working. There is no tracking pixel, no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel.

What we don't do

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not embed third-party tracking. We do not run remarketing pixels. We do not have a "data partners" page because there are no data partners.

How long we keep things

Email subscribers: until you unsubscribe. Account-holder birth data: until you delete your account. Server logs: 30 days, then purged.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to show you what we have on you, correct it, export it, or delete it. Email privacy@livetruer.com. We respond within seven days.

If you are in the EU/UK or California, you have the rights you'd expect under GDPR / CCPA. We honor them globally rather than tier-locking them by region.

Cookies

We don't set any cookies for tracking. We may use one short-lived cookie to keep you signed in once accounts exist (Phase 3). We will never use a cookie banner because we do not need one.

Children

Truer is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we materially change this policy, we'll email subscribers and keep the old version archived. The "updated" date at the top will change.
